| MONT SAINT-MICHEL - no visit to the area is complete without a visit to the spectacular Mont Saint-Michel. Our Short Break packages offer you a day excursion which commences with a visit to the Mont before moving on to the picturesque town of Dol-de-Bretagne where you have the opportunity to grab lunch or a snack. We then take the coast road and call at the pretty fishing village of Cancale for afternoon refreshment (cost of refreshments not included) and a walk along the beach or through the village. DON'T FORGET YOUR CAMERA as the day is packed with abundant photo opportunities. |
| DINAN is a fascinating medieval town with so many things to do and places to visit amongst its narrow, cobbled streets. Popularly compared with York and Chester in the UK, this town of character also features a pretty port on the river Rance. Have a look at our Gallery for a taster and remember that our sample of photos merely scratches the surface. SAINT MALO is also steeped in history and has expansive beaches. You'll find a large number of French and cosmopolitan bars and restaurants as well as a plenty of shopping opportunities - something for everyone! Again, see our Gallery for a taster. You decide which you'd like to visit and we'll take you there in the morning and pick you up later. We suggest 10am to 5pm but aim to be flexible and can vary it to suit your inclination on the day wherever possible. TRANSFERS - we'll pick you up from and return you to airports at Dinard or Rennes. Details of airlines flying in can be found on our How To Get There page. Or if you arrive at the ferry port of Saint Malo or arrive by train at a local station, we'll be there to collect you and take you back for your return journey. BEDDING, linen, towels and basics such as tea, coffee, sugar and bottled water are all provided. |
| If your stay and flight times mean you have a blank day to fill, we'll be happy to take you to the nearby resort of Saint-Cast-Le-Guildo with its seven beaches, or maybe you fancy another 'city day' to visit either Dinan or Saint Malo. Just let us know. We aim to be as flexible as possible in making your stay at Gîtes Les Quatre Saisons as busy (or as quiet and relaxing) as you wish it to be! |
| Please remember that our Short Break packages commence from your point of arrival as detailed above under 'Transfers'. It is your responsibility to arrange and pay for your inbound and return home transport to and from the airports / Saint Malo ferry port / local rail station. |
